Take an extraordinary journey to the magical Land of the Sweets with Clara and her Nutcracker Prince at the San Diego Civic Youth Ballet’s annual production of The Nutcracker. Witness an epic battle between toy soldiers and mice before being whisked away to an enchanting land of falling snow, waltzing flowers, and the dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy.

A new case is brought to the world's greatest detective, told with faint echoes of classic holiday tales you already know. A cast of 20 brings Christmas (along with a head-scratching who-dunnit) to every Holmes fan. The production is embellished by colorful period costumes, holiday music and dancers, and distinctive Victorian Era dialogue of Holmes' England.

City Ballet: The Nutcracker
