Mexican folk music player Alejandro Flores is considered the 5th tacubo, as he has played the violin in almost every Café Tacvba concert since 1994. 8:00 PM Stage: In the Heights Patio Playhouse's Plays in the Park stages Lin-Manuel Miranda's Tony Award-winning musical about a community on the brink of change, "where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which to leave behind." Matt Fitzgerald directs.

In the Heights tells the universal story of a vibrant community in New York's Washington Heights neighborhood—a place where the coffee from the corner bodega is light and sweet, the windows are always open and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. It's a community on the brink of change, full of hopes, dreams and pressures, where the biggest struggles can be deciding which traditions you take with you, and which ones you leave behind. In the Heights is the winner of the 2008 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Score, Best Choreography and Best Orchestrations.

9:00 PM Music: Black Uhuru Derrick "Duckie" Simpson the "Gong Gong Gullie" is the founder and leader for reggae's BLACK UHURU. Although they have gone through numerous lead singers and musicians, they have remained to be one of the most recognized and prolific reggae band for over 50 years.

The roots of BLACK UHURU were formed in Kingston Jamaica's Waterhouse district also known as "Firehouse" in the early 60′s. Though considered to be one of Jamaica's toughest neighborhoods, it's home to several other reggae singers and musicians. It was where Duckie Simpson grew up and learned to sing from boyhood friends Winston "Pipe" Matthews and Lloyd "Bread" McDonald of Wailing Souls and Bob Marley. He recorded four tracks with Wailing Souls before forming his own group.
