11:00 AM Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo The 34th Annual Fiesta Old Town Cinco de Mayo transforms the Old Town area into the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration north of the border. This weekend celebration attracts over 100,000 people over the course of three days with a bustling mercado, a huge display of lowriders and other autos, lucha libre wrestling matches, a petting zoo and pony rides, roving performers, a Ballet Folklorico competition, and non-stop music on three stages with over 40 bands playing Latin rock, Norteņa, banda sinaloense, conjunto jarocho, and mariachi. Proceeds benefit the Historic Old Town Community Foundation.

11:00 AM Cinco de Mayo Fest In partnership with the Latino Food Industry nonprofit, more than 20 musical and cultural dance performances will be showcased at this year's Cinco de Mayo Music Festival. This cultural event is returning to Chula Vista after a four-year absence. The festival is expected to welcome over 15,000 attendees for food, music, and interactive zones designed for the entire family.

11:00 AM San Diego Jewish Food Festival The sixth-annual event includes a New York deli, a Kosher grill, a wine & beer garden, music by the Simchat Shabbat Band, and demonstrations by area chefs, including Deborah Scott. Food includes "the delights of Israel, the Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, New York, Chicago, or wherever you and yours call 'The Old Country'" — meaning latkes and blintzes, kugel and knishes, chopped liver, falafel, rugelach, and strudel. Act One takes place in 1959, as white community leaders anxiously try to stop the sale of a home to a black family.
