7:00 PM Shen Yun Chinese Music and Dance Shen Yun returns with an all-new program for Chinese New Year with a 5000-year journey through ancient dynasties and faraway lands including 100 dancers and singers, 1000 hand-made costumes, 20 sets and animated backdrops accompanied by a concert orchestra blending Western and Chinese instruments. Part of 30-country world tour, Shen Yun will perform at the San Diego Civic Theatre on February 2, 3, and 4.

At the end of the Vietnam War, Quang and Tong fall in love in a refugee camp in Arkansas, then take a life-changing trip across America. An artist and performer with many interests and talents, Auzet received the Chevalier des Arts et Lettres from the French Ministry in 2007 for his remarkable body of work in contemporary music, circus, dance, opera, and theater. Auzet has collaborated with leading artists from around the world including Pierre Boulez, Iannis Xenakis, Angelin Preljocaj, and Merce Cunningham. Auzet's new work starts with a car on an empty stage, but he quickly fills the room with so much more. Employing gesture, movement, and drumming he answers fundamental questions about human nature, solitude, power, knowledge, strength, virtuosity, and doubt.
